Hi, I’m Ryan. With the DISH Anywhere app and Amazon’s Fire TV Stick, you can watch all of your DISH programming on a big-screen TV, just like you were at home.
Let me show you how it works.
First, plug in the Amazon Fire TV stick to a power source.
Then connect the device to an HDMI port on your TV. Turn on your TV. Then, use the Input or Source button on your TV to tune to the corresponding HDMI input.
There will be onscreen instructions on how to pair your remote, connect your Fire TV Stick to the Internet, and register your device.
The next step is to download the DISH Anywhere app to your Fire TV Stick. To do this, use the Alexa Voice Remote that came with your Fire TV Stick to search for the DISH Anywhere app, and then click “Get.”
Or select the Search icon from the home screen.
Then use the onscreen letter pad to type “DISH Anywhere.” Once the app appears in the results, select it from the options shown.
If you set up an Amazon Video pin, you will be prompted to enter it.
Select “Open” from the app landing page.
Enter your Amazon Video pin again if prompted.
Read the End User License Agreement and select “I Accept”.
The last step is to visit dishanywhere.com/activate on your computer, phone, or mobile device. Enter the code that’s displaying on your TV screen into the Activation Code box on the website. Select “Activate Device.”
A confirmation will appear on the website stating that your Fire TV Stick has been activated.
Your TV will display the DISH Anywhere app homepage where you can watch the same shows, movies, and recordings you could at home, but on a big-screen TV wherever you are.
Thanks for watching, and I’ll see you next time.
